How do you price a job?
Two ways. Defined work gets a fixed, itemized quote before anything starts. A list of odds and ends gets an hourly rate instead, so you're not paying for a walkthrough on a job that takes twenty minutes. We'll tell you which one is cheaper for what you're asking.
How fast can you come out?
Most walkthroughs happen within a few days, and small jobs are often same-visit. Urgent repairs, call and we'll tell you honestly what's possible.
Do you work in apartments and co-ops?
Yes. We work with building requirements, certificates of insurance, and service-elevator windows regularly. Send us your building's rules and we'll handle the paperwork.
Are you licensed and insured?
Licensed and insured, and happy to send a COI directly to your management company before the visit.
What counts as light construction versus a contractor job?
Built-ins, closets, trim, and small framing are ours. Anything needing structural work, permits, or a licensed plumber or electrician, we'll say so up front and point you to someone good.
Do you supply materials?
Either way. We can source and mark nothing up beyond the receipt, or install what you've already bought.
What if something isn't right?
We walk the job together before we call it done. If it's not right, we don't leave.
